Participant Waiver
By booking with Wild Thing Yoga LLC, you understand that Yoga and HIIT includes physical movements and participation in these activities include, but are not limited to, meditation techniques, yogic breathing techniques and performing various postures.
By choosing to participate in any Yoga or HIIT events with Wild Thing Yoga, you represent and warrant that you are physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent or affect your participation. You are aware that the lead instructor and owner, Jessica Ann Cady, recommends that you seek the advice of a physician before commencing any exercise routine. You have advised the instructor of any and all health conditions that may be affected by your practice of Yoga or HIIT.
You understand that Yoga and HIIT is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. You understand that classes are not recommended and are not safe under certain physical and medical conditions. By signing this waiver, you affirm that you alone are responsible to decide whether to take part in Yoga or HIIT activities.
As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be eliminated. Your signature acknowledges you understand that in Yoga and HIIT activities, you agree to progress at your own pace. If you experience any pain or discomfort, you will listen to your body, adjust the pace or posture and ask for support from the teacher. If at any point you feel overexertion, pain or fatigue, you will respect your body’s limitations and will rest before continuing.
You voluntarily, knowingly and expressively assume the risk of injury related to your presence at the Yoga and HIIT venues and events, including when the class takes place at a public location, your own home, the instructor’s home, on hotel grounds, an AirBnb or any rented location, studio, gym or fitness center.
Equipment: You assume any and all risks of injury associated with the use of any exercise equipment or shade canopies of your own, or provided by the instructor or the premises, including but not limited to: a canopy tent gazebo shade cover (for outdoor classes), yoga straps, yoga exercise mats and yoga blocks, a wall barre, foam rollers, exercise balls and free weights.
The instructor may offer up essential oils to enhance the class experience. You understand that you can request that no essential oils be used or at least not near you. If you know, suspect or think you may have allergies to these oils, you will let the instructor know. If you do have an adverse reaction to these oils in whatever way, you will not hold the instructor liable for the outcome.
You understand the participation in outdoor Yoga and HIIT sessions are at your own risk. You understand the risk of being outdoors includes, but is not limited to, dehydration, sunburn, heat stroke and physical injury. You will take the necessary precautions to avoid any of the beforementioned ailments and if you feel any symptoms which may be related to these ailments, or any discomfort whatsoever during an outdoor class, you will stop immediately, seek shade, apply sunscreen, rehydrate and only continue if you feel well enough.
Photography
If your teacher takes photos during your yoga session you understand that she may use them for her company’s social media or website. However, you have the right to request otherwise. If you prefer no photos be taken, your privacy will be respected and photos will not be used for marketing purposes
